Liz has been reading for over 20 years, and has built a course to answer most of the major questions you are likely to come up agaist as you work your way through the Major and Minor Arcana.

The course lasts 8 months, during which you will learn how to interpret tarot spreads, visualization techniques and working with the spirit of the Tarot.

You will be working primarily with the Rider-Waite deck, but looking at other decks as well.

Tree Lore and the Ogham: this year-long course follows the system of the Ogham (Celtic tree lore), but also covers a range of other trees, and various systems of correspondences (e.g. the animal and bird lore connected with each tree), and the folklore of trees. It also aims to get you outside and working with trees (course participants are encouraged to become members of the Woodland Trust!).

For an additional £30, we can provide you with samples of most of the woods you will work with. This may help you to contact the dryad energy of the wood itself. Please note - we can't promise you will get all of them - or in what form - this is organic material remember!

A number of people have asked me about doing writing workshops with me - this is something that I've run regularly for one of the universities, as well as other organisations.

After the success of the first course, I am scheduling at least one more 2 day workshop in 2010, 10 - a.m to 4 p.m, in Glastonbury

This particular workshop is directed at people who are aiming at publication and covers the basics of:

- short story writing
- novel writing
- preparing work for publication
- marketing your work
- contacting agents and publishers
- genre as an industry

There are a maximum of 10 places and no entry criteria. It is likely that I will be repeating this workshop throoughout the year by demand.

We will not be doing a lot of writing during the workshop itself - the idea, which has proved successful in the University of Sussex workshops, is to download as much as possible of what I have learned in a decade-long pro career into your heads!
